Michèle Schoonjans Gallery

Founded in 2019, Michèle Schoonjans Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of the Rivoli Building, a unique and trendy Art Centre in Brussels.

The gallery aims to discover and to support national and international emerging talents, along with more established artists, by providing them a platform of visibility on the Belgian art scene and to promote their works amongst collectors, institutions and art lovers.

For her programmation, Michèle Schoonjans presents artists who combine in their working process maturity, subtlety, lightness and poetry. A great importance is given to the research process, the exploration and the way they use the medium they have chosen. 

The gallery space is established on two floor levels. The ground floor, a kind of white cube, is usually used to make a statement about the artist’s work, as on the first floor, the space invites the visitors to spend more time to enter into the artist’s works and his universe.
