Steven Tevels

In his search for the essence of auditory perception, Steven Tevels aims to develop a personal sonographic language; an individual means of ‘composing’. It is a search for the newest presentations of ‘sound’ and media, other than the conventional methods people have used for decades.
Sound is a primary, essential requirement of music. Sounds in which people can no longer discern pitch are called ‘noise’. What is perceived as music is determined by conventions. In essence, sound is an essential and logical component of Steven Tevels' working resources.
