BRDG

BRDG is an experiment with our everyday routine. A bridge has always been a means of connection between two things, a passage from one side to the other. As you enter you always look towards the exit, but what happens if you stay for a bit and look around… Every month a different artist will be chosen to intervene in the space of the bridge and its surroundings, bearing in mind its specific location and also facing the challenge of exhibiting their work in a public space. The bridge is an arena for research, exploration and articulation of the various aspects of public space. Artists have the opportunity to make public art with the aim of encouraging the public to re-think, re-live and re-imagine the role of the bridge. With this, we attach importance to the experience of the spectator, who is simultaneously a participant who feels the need to discover new and inspired ways to re-use, re-establish and re-invent his relationship with the city.
