Dimos De Beun

Dimos de Beun graduated with highest distinction in Bart Coen's class at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and studied harpsichord with Herman Stinders and Ewald Demeyere at the Brussels and Antwerp conservatories. He studied organ with Ignace Michiels and Joris Verdin in Bruges and Antwerp. As a recorder and continuo player, he has worked with such renowned ensembles as La Petite Bande, Ricercar Consort, Huelgas Ensemble, Ex Tempore, Vlaams Radio Koor, Collegium Vocale Gent, B'Rock, Ensemble Phoenix Munich, Rosas, Currende, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Il Gardellino, Bachplus, Zefiro Torna.... In addition, he has taken part in television productions and CD recordings, both solo and in ensemble, for various international labels.

Dimos teaches recorder, harpsichord and ensemble at the academies of Waregem, Blankenberge and the Bruges conservatory. He also founded the "Arcus Coloratus" ensemble with Annelies Decock, which focuses on Baroque music.
