ARTS2 (Arts au carrré) - Mons academy of arts

ARTS² (Arts au carré) is a Higher School of Arts (ESA) that provides higher artistic education organized by the Federation Wallonia-Brussels. It is located in Mons, the cultural capital of the Federation and the European Capital of Culture for the year 2015.

It is the result of the merger between the Royal Conservatory of Mons and the Higher School of Visual Arts (ESAPV), both of which have a long artistic tradition.

The size of the School (approximately 650 students) has preserved a particularly warm atmosphere, but it is part of a large and prestigious higher educational community (University/Higher Education) within the Hainaut Region, which offers many advantages to its students.

ARTS²'s mission is to train performing and creative artists in its three accredited domains:

VISUAL ARTS
MUSIC
THEATRE

The school also organizes courses for secondary education teachers. It also participates in the Erasmus program and collaborates on postgraduate programs with universities.
